as humans bow down
to let the others, climb and rise
another ladder built then fell
to reach those who precede
every one aims high
higher than he's able to reach
until the targets disappear
till they die
another step in the ladder
will destroy the endeavour
a conflict of will and capacity will kill us together
equal we were born, equal we will die,but we kneel
to an interval of imposture
equal we were born, equal we will die,
but we need
this mechanism to be broken and gone
something hunted pounced on this body
injection got him rid of all its glory
suddenly this core turned shabby
a fatal pressure stripped its humanity, suddenly
supported by 13 fans who also own “Useless endeavour”
I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
